Twitter war reaches Simcoe Grey!

Simcoe Grey's self proclaimed son, Chris Carrier has taken upon himself to block several people from following him on Twitter, including yours truly. Just to give everyone some background, Chris Carrier is the former Mayor of Collingwood who's now seeking the nomination of the Conservative party in our riding of Simcoe-Grey.

If you are seeking the nomination of any political party, one would think that you would want people to follow you, and know what you are all about. Not Mr. Carrier as he feels that the people he blocked are not worth having him as followers. Some of the people he's decided to block include 2 current members of Collingwood council, a local newspaper managing editor in Collingwood, and a major on-line publication in the south end of our riding. Given that he's a long shot at winning the nomination, one would think that based on his website alone where he claims he'll work for all the people of Simcoe-Grey if elected as our next MP, he sure has a funny way of showing it.

http://www.chriscarrier.com/ is his website address, and I've never read so much BS from one person in my life. Local son, proven leader, fiscal conservative. Ya right Mr. Carrier. Under your Leadership as Mayor you increased the towns debt from 18 million when you took office to well over 50 million when you left office, and you call yourself a fiscal conservative.

Anyway back to the Twitter issue. I have a bit of information to share with you Mr. Carrier and the information is that we are still able to follow you on twitter. By blocking us from following you, we can still do a search on your name and see all of your posts.
