Meet the Smardenka!

With so much attention being paid to the Conservative nomination process in Simcoe Grey I think it was about time to pay a little attention to the Liberal nomination process. Yes the Liberals, like the Conservatives will be selecting their candidate for the next Federal election. With a budget most likely coming down towards the end of March, an election could be called the last week of March which would mean we would head to the polls most likely in early May.

The Liberals so far only have 1 candidate in the running and his name is Alex Smardenka. Alex, along with his wife Sandy own 3 businesses in the north end of our riding. They own the Boston Pizza locations in Collingwood and Wasaga Beach, and they also own the Swiss Chalet in Wasaga Beach.

Alex will be holding several meet and greets in the next few days and I encourage you to drop in and ge tto know Alex and let him explain why he would be the best choice to be our MP.
