Wasaga Beach's beloved Mayor is going on 97.7the beach radio station on Monday March 28th to clear the air on some of his recent screw ups like when he said at "Breakfest at the Beach" that if he was a tourist he would not stay in Wasaga Beach but at Blue Mountain.
Then we had the whole issue about by-law enforcing an old law on the books about cottage and home owners not being allowed to rent out their homes in the summer. If you are caught you could receive a fine for the first day at $ 25,000 and $ 10,000 for each additional day. This issue made all the Toronto talk shows, the Global News, and the Toronto Star. Thanks for putting another nail in the coffin to our tourist industry.
While he's on a roll he might as well talk about the whole Kellie Leitch Endorsement issue which I'm sure will become a local issue should Leitch win the Conservative nomination this week.
I think Patterson needs to think before he speaks, or hire a PR person to write his speechs, as it seems everytime he opens his mouth lately the town ends up in the news on a negative note.
