Election 2011 - Day 2

Doing my post a little early today as I want to watch Obama's speech to a joint session of Congress. Anyway he's what the candidates did today on day 2 of the election campaign.

PC - Jim Wilson is seen below beside his Changeabago bus outside the Nottawasaga Inn in Alliston.

Wilson also met with voters today in the south end of the riding. Word on the street as reported by our friends at http://www.madhunt.com/wilson-as-speaker-20110908.htm
Is that if re-elected he will be asked to run for Speaker, and will most likely win the race. He's done a good job as Deputy Speaker and would make an excellent Speaker if re-elected. Wilson was also with former Liberals Rocco Rossi in Toronto and Tony Genco in Vaughan.

Green Party Leader - Mike Schreiner met with New Tecumseth mayor Mike MacEachern in Alliston this morning, and this afternoon he met with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Collingwood. Schreiner also met with local business owners in both Alliston and Collingwood and is seen below at his press conference after his meetings in Collingwood.

Liberal Candidate, Donna Kenwell and NDP Candidate, David Matthews did not have, or attended any events today.
